Injury claims do not always involve a car. If you have experienced a slip and fall accident, been injured as a cyclist or by a cyclist, bitten by a dog, or received some other injury that is not your fault, you may be eligible for compensation to pay for any treatment you have required, as well as for your pain and suffering.

Injury claims are determined in large part by degree of responsibility. For example, if you fell down and hurt yourself in a store because you were intoxicated, you might not have a case. However, if you fell down somewhere because the floor had just been washed and no one had put up a warning notice, you may have a claim.

Injury claims compensation is determined by considering the severity of the injury, the amount of recovery needed, and pain and suffering.
